Business Development Manager - Conferencing

Key Purpose of the Role
Responsible for new business and some account management within the region. Work closely with BT Conferencing and BT Global Services sales teams to provide support for the development of conferencing opportunities regionally. The position will require both internal and external representations. A high degree of flexibility will be required, in terms of time and work demands, given the global nature of the business operations and the channels of working in the AP region.

• Development and growth of sales revenues within geographic territory – new & existing client base
• Effectively build and manage a sales pipeline.
• Actively prospect for new business, must be able to work well in a team environment.
• Ensure sales, marketing and business plans are developed and executed, including identifying key target markets and opportunities.
• Identifying specific sales opportunities and coordinating necessary resources for presentation of, and gaining order of Conferencing service.
• Ensure services are implemented and provided with necessary on-going support directly or in conjunction with other assigned staff.
• Establish close working relationship with BTGS and other partner/channel sales staff and management to promote conferencing, identify opportunities and grow revenues within existing client base.
Principal Working Relationships: (internal/external customers and suppliers)
Customers:
• External: Nominated Key Accounts and regional business opportunities at all levels
• Internal: BT sales and marketing, management.
Suppliers:
• Internal: Operations, Service Delivery Management, Billing, Marketing, Portfolio Management, BT Conferencing customer service
• External: 3rd party service providers
