Senior RF Engineer - Regional (GSM and/or WCDMA)
Location: Kuala lumpur - Asia Pacific
Rate: N/A (Permanent)
Responsibilities:
1) Responsible for RF Network Planning, Network Acceptance and Network Optimization of GSM/UMTS networks.
2) Provide customer technical support through drive test and OSS data analysis and troubleshooting.
3) On-site support in case of major or critical problems that can't be solved by customers according to SLA.
4) Analyze network statistics and provide solution for improvement.
5) Liaise with R&D experts, 3rd party consultants and customers to execute and troubleshoot any feature or IOT tests.
6) Negotiate with internal and external customers on post project KPI acceptance criteria (senior).
7) Lead RF engineers and subcontractors to meet Network KPI targets, requirements and acceptance (senior).
Requirements:
1) Bachelors Degree or above in Telecommunications/Electronics/Electrical/IT Engineering or other related field of study.
2) Minimum 2-years of experience with RF Planning and Optimization. (4-years for Senior position)
3) Good knowledge and hands-on experience in 2G/3G network engineering.
4) Able to work well in a fast-paced changing environment
5) Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage
6) Must be willing to work overseas ( at least 70% of the time)
