Senior Wireless Engineer- Regional (BSS and/or RAN)
Location: Kuala lumpur - Asia Pacific
Rate: N/A (Permanent)
Responsibilities:
1) Responsible for commissioning, integration, testing, cutover and troubleshooting of 2G BSS / 3G RAN.
2) Provide customer technical support through on-site or remote analysis and troubleshooting.
3) On-site support in case of major or critical problems that can't be solved by customers according to SLA.
4) Support coordination with internal R&D engineers and 3rd party technical support teams.
5) BSS/RAN fault analysis and performance management including handling of un-expected system performance/functionality issues.
6) BSS/RAN operation including software upgrade, rehoming, RNC expansion, etc.
7) OSS data monitoring and analysis (senior).
8) Lead a team of engineers and subcontractors to ensure meeting project technical requirements (senior).
Requirements:
1) Bachelors Degree or above in Telecommunications/Electronics/Electrical/IT Engineering or other related field of study.
2) Minimum 2-years of experience with installation, commissioning and integration work.
3) Good knowledge in 2G/3G network engineering.
4) Required hands-on experience with BSS and/or RAN
5) Able to work well in a fast-paced changing environment
6) Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage
7) Must be willing to work overseas ( at least 70% of the time)
